FormaPrivacy Policy
Last updated: August 7, 2026
This policy explains what Forma collects, why, who it's shared with, and the control you have over it. Forma is operated by Eliam Udani ("we," "us"). If anything here is unclear, email liftwithforma@gmail.com.
Who this applies to
Forma is intended for people aged 16 and over. We do not knowingly create accounts for anyone under 16. Accounts belonging to users under 18 receive age-appropriate handling, described in the Users under 18 section below.
What we collect
We collect only what the app needs to function as a coaching and tracking tool:
| Category | Examples |
|---|---|
| Account | Email address, authentication credentials |
| Profile | Date of birth, height, weight, training experience, goals |
| Training data | Workouts, exercises, sets, reps, and logs you record |
| Nutrition data | Foods logged, meals, and nutrition targets |
| Coaching content | Messages you send to Delta, our AI coach |
| Launch list | Email address, if you sign up on our website before release |
We do not collect analytics, advertising identifiers, crash-tracking data, or health data from Apple Health or other device sensors.
How we use it
- To provide core features: tracking your training and nutrition, calculating targets, and showing your progress.
- To generate personalized coaching from Delta, using the relevant parts of your profile and logs as context.
- To operate and secure your account, including enforcing subscription access and age-appropriate content.
- To email you once at launch if you joined our launch list, including any trial offer we've promised. You can unsubscribe from any of these emails.
We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
We share data only with the service providers required to run Forma. Each processes data on our behalf, for the purposes below:
Anthropic
Powers Delta, our AI coach. When you use Delta, relevant parts of your fitness and nutrition context, along with your messages, are sent to Anthropic's API to generate a response. Anthropic processes this to return coaching output.
Supabase
Our backend host. Supabase stores your account, profile, training, and nutrition data in a secured database and handles authentication.
OpenFoodFacts
Provides food and nutrition information. When you search for a food, your search term is sent to OpenFoodFacts. These queries are not linked to your identity.
Users under 18
Forma applies additional protections to accounts belonging to users under 18. These accounts:
- Receive coaching from Delta under a restricted configuration that does not provide calorie-deficit framing or body-composition commentary.
- See a nutrition experience focused on protein and balanced eating rather than calorie targets.
- Have certain trend and analytics views hidden.
Age is determined from the date of birth on your profile and enforced on our servers.
Readiness demo
The readiness demo on our website runs entirely in your browser. The sleep, soreness, and energy values you enter are never transmitted to us or stored anywhere.
Retention and deletion
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from within the app, under Settings. Deleting your account permanently removes your profile, training logs, nutrition logs, and coaching history from our systems. This action cannot be undone.
Your rights
You can access, correct, or delete your data. Account deletion is available directly in the app. For any other request, or to ask a question about your data, email liftwithforma@gmail.com and we'll respond.
Data location and security
Your data is stored on Supabase's infrastructure and protected by row-level security so that you can only access your own records. We take reasonable measures to protect your information, though no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Forma evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date at the top of the page.
